Seven Simple Steps to Achieve Your Desired Health and Well being!

1. Watch your emotions and beliefs!
Unresolved emotions and limiting beliefs are trapped energy in your nervous system. Until fully addressed, they can cause you to feel tired or lethargic for no apparent reason. Also, research by the American Medical Association has proven the link between unresolved negative emotions and illness and health issues. For example, unresolved anger has been linked to heart attack and heart disease, while unresolved sadness has been linked to a low immune system and depression. The key to greater energy and better health is to resolve any unresolved negative emotions and limiting beliefs that are now preventing you from having the health and energy you desire.
2. Balance you body pH (possible hydration) level.
A pH range between 7.2 and 7.4 is ideal for the body to function at its optimal level. If your body becomes over acidic or over alkaline, your body is unable to function at its optimal level and illnesses and diseases can start to develop. Because the cells in our body are unable to function effectively in an over acidic environment, your health can start to deteriorate at a cellular level.
3. Eradicate free radicals
Avoid harmful chemicals, including preservatives in processed foods, smoking, excessive drinking, pollution, pesticides, harmful chemicals in personal care and make up products. These harmful chemicals create free radicals which damage cells, affect the natural communication between the cells and weaken the immune system. In addition, smoking, excessive drinking and pollution rob the body of vital nutrition. Instead, read product labels carefully and choose immune system friendly products which help to strengthen its defenses against illness. Use quality antioxidants to help your body to deal with free radicals on a daily basis.
4. Drink alkaline water
Healthy adult bodies comprise around 70% water, while the adult brain is about 90% water. Water is important because it hydrates the body, brings nutrients to the organs that are most in need, detoxifies the body and eliminates toxins and waste through the kidneys and liver. Good health starts with a clean colon and balanced healthy intestinal gut flora. Ordinary tap water can be acidic and can cause oxidation which can result in harmful chemical reactions. This can cause the skin to wrinkle, the cells and body to age and be prone to illness. Alkaline water improves hydration, reduces acidity and free radicals, improves the regeneration of cells and boosts the immune system.
5. Eat healthy rainbow- colored whole foods
Increase your consumption of healthy whole foods to boost your immune system. For example, fresh vegetable juices, fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, seeds, nuts and good oils (such as olive oil, avocado, coconut oil). The more color there is on your plate, the more antioxidants, phytonutrients and minerals/vitamins are available for your body to use. These foods are full of natural nutrients that turn food into energy, provide the body with most needed nutrients to strengthen the immune system and to fight infections, inflammation and invaders. Eating healthy fresh food helps the digestive system by absorbing important nutrients which strengthens the immune system. Implement an 80% alkaline and 20% acid food plan to balance out your internal environment. Always seek professional advice before you start to take any supplements.
6. Enjoy your exercise
Cardiovascular exercise (eg walking, aerobics, skipping, and running) leads to better circulation, the delivery of oxygen to the right organs and increases lymphatic fluids in the body. Increasing the lymphatic fluids in the body strengthens the immune system by eliminating toxins and metabolic debris out of the body. Research has also shown that anytime we have a pleasant experience it increases our immune system, while an unpleasant experience can reduce our immune system. So by enjoying exercise, without stress, anxiety or worry, we are also having a positive impact on our health and overall wellbeing.
7. Get enough sleep
Ensure you have 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night, especially if you would like to reach and maintain your goal weight. Enough quality sleep is essential for the body’s rejuvenation process and optimal functioning. Create an environment that helps you sleep uninterruptedly – switch off/silence your mobile phone, sleep in a totally dark room, ensure a comfortable room temperature, etc. One of the main reasons why people lack quality/enough sleep, can’t fall asleep easily or toss and turn at night is worry/anxiety/stress. They are unable to switch off their mind because they are worried or anxious about the day ahead or future events, or they have unresolved emotions/limiting beliefs that their unconscious mind is making them aware of for them to address. Make sure your stop worry/anxiety and address past emotions and limiting beliefs for long term quality sleep every night.
