Supporting Happiness and Harmony
Because our vision is to create an empowered society and assist more people to live happier lives and have harmonious relationships with others, we are proud to be supporting the International Day of Happiness and Harmony Day:
The International Day of Happiness (20th March) was founded on June 28, 2012, when the UN General Assembly adopted UN resolution 66/281, “recognizing the pursuit of happiness as a fundamental human right and goal, and universal aspiration in the lives of all human beings”. This day is now celebrated worldwide and Qt is proud to be partners in the worldwide movement to spread happiness to all.
Harmony Day (21st March) is about “inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone”. At Qt, everyone belongs because we respect, appreciate and welcome differences, and empower our team and clients to learn and grow from other people’s differences. One of the many ways that we do this is by using our unique Qt respecti ® techniques to help our clients, as well as teaching and certifying more practitioners to do the same.
Supporting World Mental Health Day
World Mental Health Day is on the 10th October each year, with the overall objective of raising awareness and support of mental health issues around the world.
The World Health Organisation notes that “Globally, more than 300 million people suffer from depression, the leading cause of disability, with many of these people also suffering from symptoms of anxiety. A recent WHO-led study estimates that depression and anxiety disorders cost the global economy US$ 1 trillion each year in lost productivity.” (WHO, September 2017 Mental Health in the Workplace Information Sheet).
Because our vision is to create an empowered society, and since 2000 we have been dedicated to helping people improve their mental and emotional health, and personal and professional success, Qt is honoured to support World Mental Health Day each year.
